Monthly Prayer Night

⁷ “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. ⁸For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.   ⁹ “Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? ¹¹If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him! ( Mathew 7-11)
“And this is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us” (1 John 2:14).

[2d] You do not have, because you do not ask God. [3] When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.  (James 4:2d-3)

The world is in  a sorry state.  Sickness, stress, negativity, earthquakes, tornados, wars & rumors of wars seem to grow with every day.  Many people feel helpless as large scale politics seem to act in ways that make no sense to them.  Technology and the need for speed can feel like it is overwhelming our need for peace & quiet.  If you feel like this, come for our monthly prayer night.  If you live in the Everett area, join us.  Here, we pray to God, our father, to heal the world.  To heal our loved ones.  To heal us.
